In occasione del Fuorisalone del Mobile 2017, Brandodesign presenta a Milano la Pet Home Collection. Una collezione
di oggetti di lusso dedicati al benessere di cani e gatti, dove l’attenzione per il dettaglio e l’essenzialità delle linee compositive
definiscono uno stile e un carattere unico ed elegante.
Brandodesign viene fondata nel 2015 dall’Architetto Pierangelo Brandolisio che, per far fronte alle esigenze del suo Akita
Americano, si appassiona al mondo ancora inesplorato del pet design. Affascinato e sensibile verso gli animali, sempre più
coinvolto emotivamente dallo scambio tra animale e uomo, l’architetto realizza prodotti innovativi per l’arredamento, con
caratteristiche specifiche per cani e gatti, dove il design si fonde con il comfort, adattandosi alle esigenze specifiche dei nostri
animali da compagnia.
Da sempre legato alla regione del Friuli Venezia Giulia, antica terra ricca di risorse naturali tra cui legni pregiati, trasforma
questi in esclusivi complementi d’arredo.
La scelta dei materiali segue le caratteristiche di semplicità e naturalezza dell’istinto animale al fine di esaltare la genuinità
del prodotto finale. L’animale stesso si trova in armonia con un materiale naturale. I prodotti Brando sono creati a mano
in Italia, e l’amore e la dedizione per l’artigianalità sono sinonimo di eccellenza, di pregio. I materiali usati comprendono
diverse essenze di legno (noce, rovere, abete, castagno, olmo, legno multistrato di betulla), acciaio Cort-en, Betacryl, Plexiglas,
Midollino, acciaio Inox, pelle bovina e microfibra.
Per la Milan Design Week Brandodesign presenterà la sua Pet Home Collection e in anteprima due nuove creazioni:
Torre-tiragraffi per gatti, un oggetto dal design innovativo composto da una base di acciaio rivestita in pelle, studiato per
consentire al gatto benessere, gioco e divertimento grazie a un peluche in pelo di pecora che ruota liberamente, e
Baco + Chiurlo, realizzato con un telaio in acciaio Inox rivestito da un raffinato intreccio in Midollino costruito
interamente a mano, oggetto che trae ispirazione dalla natura grazie alle sue forme strettamente legate al mondo animale.
Nel corso dell’evento Brandodesign presenterà anche alcuni dei pezzi più apprezzati del proprio catalogo, come Dune,
una struttura scavata e modellata per ricalcare l’anatomia dell’animale e realizzata interamente in legno multistrato di
betulla, dimostrandosi un pezzo d’arredo estremamente resistente e funzionale. Cat60, cuccia per gatti realizzata da legni
pregiati che si presenta aperta su due lati e offre ampie forature per consentire al nostro gatto di interagire direttamente
con il proprio padrone. Tunnel, cuccia per gatti dalle linee minimal che si addice a case open space, disponibile in due
innovativi materiali: Core-ten e Betacryl.
Dal 4 al 9 aprile Brandodesign esporrà presso lo spazio M4A-MADE4ART di zona Tortona, location facilmente raggiungibile
attraverso la nuova passerella che collega la MM2 P.ta Genova a Via Tortona, con accesso diretto su Via Voghera.
Il 7 aprile sarà possibile incontrare tutto il team di Brandodesign e durante la settimana saranno presenti allevatori di gatti
in orari stabiliti che porteranno un esemplare per presentare la razza di gatto e lasciar interagire liberamente l’oggetto
con l’animale.

At Milan Design Week, Brandodesign introduces its special Pet Home Collection. This collection is dedicated to our
four-legged friends and to their well-being. Brando luxury dog beds and cathouses are designed to fit contemporary
home decors. The essential lines and patented product design define a unique and elegant style signed Brando.
Brandodesign was founded in 2015 by architect Pierangelo Brandolisio, who investigated the unexplored world of
design for pets to meet the needs of his American Akita. Fascinated by the relationship between humans and pets,
Brandolisio creates innovative furniture products designed to satisfy the specific needs of cats and dogs. Pet comfort
and interior decor are combined to create a unique Pet Home Collection. Deeply connected with his region, Friuli
Venezia Giulia, Brandolisio exploits natural materials found in Northern Italy for his creations.
Cats and dogs are part of our families. Their love helps us slow down from our usually frenetic pace of life. Brandodesign
grows out of research on the relationship between pets and humans in our homes. Brando’s pet furniture contains natural
features that are enjoyable for the feline or canine instincts, while being cosmetically pleasant for humans. Materials follow
minimalism of lines and natural instinct of pets. The materials used are: plain wood essences – Walnut, Oak, Birch,
Chestnut, Elm, Spruce – Corten Steel, Stainless Steel, Plexiglas, Wicker, Leather and Microfiber. All Brando products are
handcrafted in Italy where artisanship is synonym of excellence and prestige.
At Milan Design Week, Brandodesign will present its Pet Home Collection and a preview of two new products. Baco + Chiurlo,
a cathouse inspired by wildlife and nature. The stainless-steel frame is covered in handwoven wicker. Its ergonomic structure
allows cats to feel completely protected. Torre-tiragraffi, a vertical scratching post for cats. Its innovative design allows cats to
fully stretch their body. The leather-coated stainless-steel base ensures stability and supports a vertical wooden element,
wrapped in a refined and interchangeable jute cord.
At Milan Design Week 2017, Brandodesign will also present also some other appreciated elements of its Collection such as
Dune, dog bed that finds its inspiration in desert landscapes shaped by time, entirely made of birch plywood; Cat60, cathouse
tribute to the sixties design, in various plain wood essences; and Tunnel, cathouse made from innovative materials – Betacryl
or Coreten. Its sober lines and contemporary style easily match minimal home décor.
From April 4th to 9th Brandodesign will present its collection at M4A-MADE4ART – Tortona district; the location is easily
reachable from the new boardwalk that connects MM2 P.ta Genova to Via Tortona, with direct access to Via Voghera.
During the week, Brandodesign will also host some renewed cat breeders and felines will be free to explore our cathouses.
You can meet the entire Brandodesign team on Friday the 7th and have a toast together from 6.30 p.m.
